Been MIA . Out in the caravan, between Richmond & Northallerton. Been to see High Force Waterfall today.but couldn't miss popping in to hope that everything goes as well as possible Elona. Thoughts will be with you and your family tomorrow.

Well DH persuaded me to go out for lunch and we had a good time. I had spicy pan fried gnocci with butternut squash, red onion, spinach and creamed goats cheese on the top. Utterly delicious and I shall try and replicate it at home. Anyone know if you boil them first before pan frying them?


No need to cook tonight-just a jacket potato and salad later

Thanks folks. I guess it's all getting too much, what with the car crash and everything (this latest expense is ongoing from that btw) and I just feel I'm in well over my head, and I can't swim.:cool:

I cancelled my optician appointment (was supposed to be going tomorrow) - on the basis that if I don't need new specs, it can wait; and if I do need new specs it'll have to wait cos I can't afford them right now.

I am completely debt phobic; even owing someone a quid would give me sleepless nights; and of course, the household finances are my responsibility, so this is a kick in the gut I could've done without.:cool:

I've been doing a deep clean all day prior to us moving in 9 days.I had the carpet cleaned this morning and been doing the windows too,so not as much to do next week hopefully.

Been tied up with the hospital for a couple of days, so not posted.
Turns out that my blood glucose is dangerously high and I am now injecting insulin twice a day, really on a downer at the moment::(
