  • Morning, (((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))) if you need one. Elona and family my thoughts and prayers are with you and will be tomorrow, I hope everything goes to plan.

Please can someone tell me how to get rid of the awful 'new' style of blog, I hate the new format. Thanks in advance.

Its a bit dull and grey, we could possibly have rain at some point. I am going over to see my quilting friend at lunch time.

We are entering what could be a very expensive and exciting time, more hopefully next week. Every penny is going to have to be looked at twice and I am going to have to be inventive with meals for a while, have to live out of the freezer and cupboards. I wish now I had not decided to put on the bus to the quilt show. Even my pocket money is going to have to be forfeit to go into my savings account. it may be a case of going to the quilt show and leaving my purse and credit car at home!!

Right, will drink my second mug of coffee and nip off to sort out the cat.

  • Good Morning everyone, sorry I've been missing but an emergency phone call on Monday afternoon from DD2 for a poorly Zebra mean going to take over as she had to go to work and he couldn't go in to nursery. Got back home last evening and she's been in touch to say he's much better today, jolly good news!

Today will be catching up on everything in the house, a little shopping, the washing has just finished in the machine and will go outside today and walking my houndicus this afternoon will be lovely. I'll read back later in the day and catch up on everyones posts. It's so nice to be back home.

Have a good day everyone, Lyn xxx.

    Morning all,

such a lot achieved yesterday even though I didn't think I needed to do much. Pampered pooches were bathed and groomed. I need to give them a quick trim today to complete the 'rags to riches' makeover.

Looks like its going to be a nice day. I might even peg out my washing.

    Onwards and forwards,

    have a great day all.

    Good afternoon all,

Have only dipped in and out of the forum up until now but am going to make a huge effort to write in most days!

Spent the morning in work yesterday and then wedding dress shopping with my mum in the afternoon - was massively fun and exciting. Haven't found "the one" yet but we have a few more appointments booked so keep your fingers crossed!

Went to see another venue in the evening but again not right. Those of you who are married - did you feel you had to compromise on the venue or did you find somewhere perfect? We are having a church wedding in my local church and it's quite remote - half hour drive to the nearest town so we are quite limited as I don't want the poor guests spending the day driving!

We haven't stopped since we got engaged two weeks ago. There's been so many people to see and preplanned events that we haven't had an evening at home! We have our two nephews coming over tomorrow for a sleep over so there'll be no rest then as well.

Hope you are all having a lovely day, hugs and love to everyone.

Back at home - sunny trip up but now it's raining. Yesterday may have been our summer.

Roofer on the front of the barn now, he's doing a really good job. He's been all over the farm for old slate tiles to replace ones which are too small and shouldn't have been on the roof in the first place. No wonder we had water coming in.

Can't cut the grass now. Have fed the rose bush with some foul smelling pellets.

One of the TV remotes is playing up, have changed the batteries and it's still not working. Just odd!

Hey ho.. off for a fresh cup of tea.

Please would someone book me in at the vet's and have me put to sleep?

Long story, won't go into the why's and wherefore's, but just found out I have to magic £250 out of thin air.

I really have Had Enough. Could cheerfully drink up all my Oramorph and put and end to the whole wretched business.

Sorry - needed to vent, or I probably would hit the Oramorph bottle.:(

Oh goodness LameWolf that's a bit drastic.

The only thing you should be overdosing on is TEA. Lots of deep breaths and just think of all those beautiful dogs you help to look after, and how much they would miss you.

    Much love
