Thats great news. I spoke to an operator today and although not actually in PPI department , there seems to be some indications that they have reviewed their communication procedures. My cheque should now be here within.in 20 days. Will keep you posted.0

Hi Caggie
Got another letter!! This time thanking me for the ID docs and saying they will shortly perform a redress calculation and write to me with full details.
It then says I will get a cheque within 20 working days of the calculation. I just wish I knew how long the calculation takes!
In my case with the YB, just over 8 weeks.
I hope that helps.

I have been reading this thread with interest. We had an Egg card for a while, but have no idea whether we paid PPI on it. Should I ask get a SAR do you think?0

Hi, being a bit of a hoarder/filer I already had the credit card agreement and supporting documents, so I did not beed to request a SAR but from reading other forum post this would seem the way to go. If you applied online I would have said that PPI was added, I am waiting to hear back from ombudsman about my case after Canada Square Operations rejected my complaint. Someone from the FOB phoned yesterday so I know they are now looking into it.0

Well, well, what a turn up . I phoned Canada Square Operations today and got to a female ( a first) operator who could actually access some of my information (even cited my postcode) and was able to confirm that they had received my acceptance letter. Look s like they are getting their act together. They just need to but contact number on their website to close the circle.0

My apologies for not being more timely in posting this response, I have been away for a week , during which time my cheque finally arrived!
It really does pay (eventually) to keep on chasing Canada Square Operations if you believe that you were mis-sold PPI . In my case it was front loaded and they initially rejected my claim. In more recent weeks they seem to have become more transparent and expeditious in dealing with complaints. Good luck to you all!0
