Car bulbs spare kit

Check what headlamp bulbs, the most expensive and necessary of the lot, that comes with the kits. If they aren't the ones for your car, make up a set yourself.0

OK. Will try that.0

Bulbs are quite good these days and rarely fail, I suspect most people don't bother carrying spares any more.
Besides, as you alluded to, they can be a right pain in the backside to change and often not something easy to do at the roadside.Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -
I keep one of these in boot (for H7 headlight) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-RING-VEHICLE-CAR-VAN-MINI-H7-HEADLAMP-AUTO-EMERGENCY-BULB-FUSE-KIT-/160961270649?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item257a0a1379
Cheap and it means I can replace bulbs straight away.

There are still car bits shops other than Halfords who not only will sort you the right bulbs, but treat you like a grownup rather than an ATM with a pulse.
Admittedly you may have to provide your own box & they tend to be harder to find, but ask a cabbie!0 -
Remember you need a set if you cross the Channel.0

Spare bulbs are not a legal requirement in FranceChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0

I'm afraid you're better off doing the research and buying the right bulbs individually.
I once bought a kit from halfords for my car, several of the auxillary bulbs were missing. They use generic kits for several makes and model of car so you will end up with bulbs you don't need and missing some you do.
Find an internet forum for enthusiasts of your car, they are a great source of information and will often have stick threads that contain a list of all the headlight and auxilary bulbs for your car.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -
There are more countries on the other side of The Channel than France
Yeah, I suppose he could be nipping across to Croatia
most of which recommend you to have a spare bulb kit.
.....according to the companies that sell bulb kits
But perhaps silverwhistle wasn't talking about bulbs when he said you needed a set if you cross.
Quite possiblyChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0
