Old Bradford & Bingley account with Santander
Comments
-
I've had a bit of trouble with Santander....not at all helpful in tracing an old Alliance and Leicester account...they done me on PPI.
Then later ,when applied I to open a 123 account was refused.0 -
Yeah I had this email mid February. And I shifted any odd money out the account while I could still access it.
(I already had a santander account too)
We recently wrote to you about some important changes we'll be making to your above savings account(s).
Changes to how you log on
The way you log on to manage these accounts will change on 22 February 2015.
You’ll no longer need to log on from the ‘Online eSavings Account Log In’ page to manage the above accounts.
To make things easier, you'll only need to log on in one place to manage both these and your other Santander accounts.
You'll be able to log on at https://www.santander.co.uk (select ‘Log on’ from the top right of page), using your existing customer ID and security details.
What you need to do
From 22 February 2015 log on at https://www.santander.co.uk, using your existing customer ID and security details to manage all your accounts in one place.
Your ‘Online eSavings Account’ log on details (User ID and Password) that you currently use to manage the above accounts won’t be valid after this date.0 -
Thanks for the replies. I will check some of the advice out.
The reason I said it wasn't worth a phone call is that I transferred money out some time ago when there was a BB link on the Santander site. I only left just over £1 in the account. It would be silly to chase this with phone calls. On the other hand £1 is my money and not Santander's. Thanks.0 -
I'd cleared it out some time ago, but found £300 interest in there.
Have a look at your email in February and see what email you had.0 -
Did you get anywhere?
They sent me an email today, saying I have a secure message, but I can't access it !0 -
The secure message is informing you of changes to accessing your account such as asking for passwords in sequential alphabetical / numerical order as opposed to random .Without the rain you wouldn't have the rainbows !
I came into this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left!0
