Also the package's original weight was 0.531kg which is written on receipt but when I received the package back it had 0.350kg weight.
Okay, and the paperwork listed the contents as?
Parcelforce don't go to Singapore - they use a one of the big three to do so.
If correctly and clearly declared the courier should have refused the collection if the item was prohibited for the service. Parcelforce also had the opportunity to refuse when they converted the shipment from Parcelforce to the actual courier doing the transportation.
In my opinion the fact you shouldnt have sent it is not a reason to refer it to the post office - they took the package, if clearly declared and they take responsibility.
Therefore I would contact Parcelforce and say their issue with the Royal Mail is their issue, not yours.0 -
Ah... so you are now telling us that the case is closed.
Just a tip... if you are seeking advice from anyone, not just this forum, it is important to ask the right questions.
I have asked the right question. If you are not bothered to read the OP then it's not my fault either help me or just stay away but stop acting like a circus's joker. You need to visit specsaver to examine your eyes because I am quite sure that it was you who rumoured about the dress colour was gold. lol
Let me reword the original post.
On my claim account at Parcelforce's website it has exact following information.
Status: Appeal
Closed: 13-05-2015
I made a phone call to the customer service of parcelforce which handles claims and they have confirmed that my case is not closed because as it is Royal Mail's fault to use a wrong service for the content of package therefore they will now deal with Royal Mail, and let me know the outcome. When I said that it is an obvious to assume that nobody in the world accepts his mistake then what? Then they said they will compensate. Then my question was: so i will definitely receive the money. And then parcelforce said they don't know.
Now my question is what are the chances to get claim money?0 -

I clearly wrote the content "watch" price "£815" and signed it.
It was just a normal tag Heuer automatic watch so not a prohibited item. (There wasn't even a bettery inside it)
Parcelforce told me that I don't have to speak with Royal Mail. It's them who will deal with Royal Mail.0 -
Extra note:
The staff member told me one more thing that if Royal Mail (post office) tells them that I have used online service or self checkout then it will be my mistake, not their mistake.
Whereas, I didn't use online service neither self checkout (that branch of post office from where I posted the content doesn't have self checkout. The address of branch is printed on receipts so it can be verified) I walked into the post office and dealt personally with post office's staff member.0 -
I could make a note about you reading my post correctly etc, but that wouldn't be helpful to the situation

As I said, tell Parcelforce if they need to speak to Royal Mail that's their lookout, not yours.
They know you didn't self serve or online, as the shipping documents are hand written and you bought in the post office and paid with your card.
They are messing you around.
As for the question of are you going to get your money, we're not psychic, and that is up to Parcelforce and terms and conditions both you and they signed.
The fact you have the outbound weight and the return weight is in your favour, keep all the packaging etc.0
