Family of 5 where to go in October??

Seriously - how much are you prepared to pay for guaranteed sunshine. I know this is not an answer to what you asked, but is an alternative - especially if you need flexibility
Have you considered Jersey/Guernsey - it would be out of season for UK so may be cheap, or even Cornwall - St Ives ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/lovestives/ ) - with what it would cost to get 4 hours away you could have a large budget for seaside activities - boat trips - canoes / fishing -I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine0 -
Thanks for all the replies - since taking all the comments on board am realising that we perhaps need to fly further away for the sun / beach to go in October - budget would perhaps now need to be £2,000 + - so that we are all together (as opposed to 2 rooms).
I'm just not sure I fancy a longer flight with a husband whose not that keen on flying - and to go for just a week.
I do appreciate all your ideas / thoughts. Thank you so much.0 -
Canary Islands, Eastern Greece and Turkey would have more chance of better weather, stated flight times are usually maximum durations, actual time in the air can be shorter.
