Sim only on o2 via TCB/CPW
I am coming to the end of my contract with o2. I want to keep my phone and go on a sim only rate.
I can get a sim only 12 month contract with o2 much cheaper through CPW or TCB. The only problem is that is says 'new' contract.
Will they accept that it is a new contract or say because I am already on O2 I can't have the cashback?

My understanding is you would have to port out your number to another provider and then port back in.
To keep your number with O2 it would class as an upgrade not a new contractIt's not just about the money0 -

Keeping your old number generally can be a problem, but reportedly O2 is a unique provider allowing internal transferring (not porting) of the number from old contract to a new one.0
