I went especially for the compost that some peeps have got for 49p, but it scanned at 99p. I did find a jar of whole nutmeg for 10p

I think this may have been posted elsewhere, but I've just picked up another batch of Hardys VR Shiraz from Sainsburys Ossie Rd in Derby. Pre packaged boxes containing 4 bottles reduced from £18 to £9. £2.25 a bootle is a great buy. The same single bottles are £4.99 on the same shelf !!!

Hi i work at Sainsbury's at one of the bigger branches will try to keep you updated with current offers!

I work on the clothing department so will be able to let you know when there is a sale on or when reduced items go down further.

Apologies if this is anywhere else.

At the moment Ladies sale items have been reduced further to 70% off Mens is due to be reduced to 70% later on this week.

Also Ben and Jerry's icecream is £2.51 at the moment although it's £2 at asda suppose it depends which store is closer.

My Sainsburys clothing section has a huge sale rail but every item is either size 8 or sizes 18 or 20, very annoying. All I've manged to get in size 12 are the plain blue t-shirts with v and round necks reduced to 90p

I agree it is very annoying.

Unfortunately this is the case in most stores, the more popular sizes go straight away. Will check our weekly update sheet and see if there is to be any more reductions hopefully i will be able to tell you before it happens so you have a better chance of getting something in your size.

Yes,I employed careful stragergy this year so everytime I went into Sainsburys I had a look for new items coming in so I knew exactly what I wanted and these things I got on the two 20% off weekends Sainsburys had. My reasoning was that 20% off was the best I was ever going to get, no point in waiting for the sales and it was. I got quite a few things on the first weekend and also used up all my nectar points so it worked out at 40% off. Also by watching the rails closley as the sale started I managed to get size 12 jeans and skirt on the day they were reduced and put out.

It is frustrating though. I have been very happy to get things for £12 and £15 but the same items are now £4.50 in sizes 18 and 20.
