Use sensible shoes for driving? Every woman i know that have high heels and show shoes rather than everyday work shoes have a spare set in the car.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

I don't wear high heels but I had a similar problem with my new car - I got round the problem by switching the car mats round - the driver side mat is now on the passenger side and vice versa - it works for me.0

will the mat move a bit?
pull it back towards the seat base so that your heel is on the pad rather than the edge of it
Unfortunately its stuck down.jonesMUFCforever wrote: »I don't wear high heels but I had a similar problem with my new car - I got round the problem by switching the car mats round - the driver side mat is now on the passenger side and vice versa - it works for me.
I thought about doing that but the shape of the mats are different so wouldn't fit right.0 -

Just to clarify - is this wear pad stuck to the car's carpet or on a separate removable mat?
My car has mats and when you remove the mats there is a wear-pad on the actual fitted carpet too.
Either way I'd just buy another mat to put on top.0 -
I had the same problem with my corsa's clipped in mats so I took them out as you couldn't always move your foot properly.0

When I bought my car the mat was not secured to the floor, it was aftermarket so did not clip onto the floor tabs. It would crumple up on the day side. I used some double sided carpet tape which made the carpet stick to the car.
Was a bit concerned that tape would leave a residue on the floor but it hasn't happened and stick a bit like stick it note. Can be removed with some encouragement but stays still0 -
Can you put some duct tape or something similar down the edge of the mat to stop your heel catching on it???"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

How about replace the mat.................0
