Newbie to your diary here and maybe I'll start my own having been a lurker for a month or so...

With regards to your LTD company, please please please don't do what I did and disregarded how much is needed to pay tax!
Take care of the here and now and the future will be taken care of.

My goodness- just got a yearly statement projection from my accountant. The contract I have is only for 6 months but Jesus if I can get a contract extension and stop myself going shopping my mortgage free journey will be seriously fast tracked! How am I gonna keep my feet on the ground! So this is how I'm gonna keep my feet on the ground.

    - keep ebaying
    - keep shopping for asda bargains
-keep doing weekly meal planner even when busy
    - still plan a head for Xmas and shop for bargains
    - not tell hubby take home pay encase he gets ideas for a new car
    - spend not a penny over my norm until I see if I get a contract extension.

    Jobs I need to do:
Sort out pension and see if I'm better putting some of the business profit into a pension plan rather than mortgage. Or look at but to let.
Work out how much I need to save to last til kids are in high school and aim for that.
