    well.....if councils allow one person to bend the planning laws then where do you stop? how do you enforce laws consistently if you are going to make individual exceptions?

    Heartbreaking to see a retired couple have their mobile home demolished because it was 19 inches too wide however.

    I lived in Oxford for three years. How did I not know about the shark?!

    Felt a bit sorry for the old couple with the static caravans (though I know there's no excuse for not following the proper process).

    £40k cost to demolish two static caravans?!! How can the council charge them that much? They said earlier that the massive mansion would only cost £100k to knock down!
  • One of the houses is local to me (the Barton Le Clay one) isn't it hideous.

    That bungalow once it got passed at appeal bet he thought he had won.
    The way council funds are i was suprised the council appealed.
