How time flies, I didn't realse that it was this weekend Trufle Hunter. I can't go this year but will pass on the reminder as grandchildren loved it last year.
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

    Afternoon All,

Just to remind you that it is OPEN FARM SUNDAY this SUNDAY :j

I have very much enjoyed going the past two years after initially hearing about this national event on this lovely forum :A

The farm in which I have been to my little one loved climbing on and off the various tractors, had fun strolling through the woods to see woodland life, attempt den building with natural materials, going on a tractor ride to and from the dairy plus many more great activities.

All for free (well a donation is nice :))

Dd was complaining there are none around here . until ds3 read the list of activities and said why would you want to go its its just another day at home:rotfl:

Yes time certainly has been flying by. That is a shame you can't go this year but yes a lovely reminder and hope your grandchildren are free to enjoy the event :)

    afternoon all

A question for gardening experts regarding calla lilies - how easy or hard are they to keep, what conditions do they like, do they get the lily beetle?

Also had huge trolleys of them outside and they looked so pretty but I didn't risk getting one - don't know the price.

I did though find a new plant in the Morrisons plant section, 2 for £3 - sheeps bit, lovely blue bobble heads

also our castor oil plant is full of seed heads - how easy or difficult is it to get them to germinate - I expect it takes ages by which time you have forgotten what you have planted :D
