And I spent a few grand on getting a new garage built to store my stash. I am joking as we needed rid of the old absetos one. But if it wasn't for my shopping habits I would not have included a section for my stash. :o

Although since having a great space to store things it has calmed me down I don't rush out to buy things now because I can easily see what I have stock of. I do think while I was continuing to buy buy buy and shoving stuff here there and everywhere I was not really aware of how much I had and what a huge habit shopping had become for me.

I agree there is a certain buzz when you first start glitching, you think you will never get the same good deal again but having been at it a few years now, things do come round again and again.

The last radox handwash glitch I had a gap on my shelf of Ts RTC's and I just bought 8 enough to restock it and stopped. I know now from experience another glitch/RTC will come around before I run out. ;)

And FC mentions petrol, I would often go on a late night road run from one store to another especially hunting out 1p finds at Ts. But I limit myself now and my petrol costs have gone down considerably. :T Think only done one late night trip in the last few months for the Fairy few weeks ago. Oh just remembered the 20p sauces/olives too. But I could disappear off at a drop of a hat:o

But overall I find things a lot calmer not having to walk over bags of stuff as I walk in the door with no where to put them. I admire those that make it a way of making money by selling things on but that's not what I'm about and I would warn people of getting to the point I did where you can not look anywhere without seeing stuff. In the end it gets you down. Life is for living not shopping.

Remind me again how big your wine rack is ;)
I gave up rushing out for things ages ago especially ones at Tesco petrol outweighed the glitches over time and asda is 5 minutes walk away if that
Now if kitchen roll glitched for 2p then I would rush out :j

I can't remember off the top of my head. :o

It does have gaps at the moment. ;) It's either 98 or 84 I think, rows of 7. And also holds about dozen bottles of fizz stood up on the top. And yes not very cost effective of buying cheap wine as the rack cost me £80ish.

Do you get through a lot of kitchen roll Dotty? :p I do have a stash. Not 2p though. :rotfl:

    Afternoon luvlies

Very warm out today - managed to dodge the odd shower.

I've just spotted the 4 packs of Kopperberg Pear in my ex netto RTC to £1.50. Now this in itself it a blinkin good price as usually £5.68. I checked MSM while I was in store and I'm hoping it compares to S price of £4.50, if it does I make it 27p for a 4 pack. I bought 12 ;)

DH think he has the old APG on his iPhone so I'll wait for him to get in from work to check, otherwise I may call on one of you to check for me ;). Results should be checkable from 5pm.

    Here's the BC and pic

    Good Afternoon all

    I've done a cashback shop.

I haven't done much wombling since my eye op.Still getting used to it.
Everything is so bright and clear.I don't think I have ever seen so well in all my life. The op has altered my 3d so I am being a bit careful on steps e.t.c.

I need to get some new sunglasses as my prescription ones are no good.
The funny thing is colours look different out of each eye.I nearly bought the wrong toilet rolls yesterday.

AS for using £900 of apg's in one month. This would scare me.

    More importantly hows your niece

How wonderful and thoughtful of you to ask.
She came out of hospital on Wednesday and will be attending out-patients on a regular basis.
The plan is for her to start going back to school doing half days to see if she can cope.
I will be seeing her this weekend and intend to smother her with love.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Sorry still can't quote grrrr and no smilies

Saversue great to see that your niece is home at last. I'm sure she will be so pleased to see you, even when you smother her with love x

You'll soon get used to your new vision Sue, had a chuckle at nearly buying the wrong toilet rolls. Just goes to show how much you needed that op. You'll soon get back to your wombling

Lovely afternoon in the garden, had lunch outside too. Am looking forward to a very very quiet weekend as DS4 has gone to Boom Bap (music fest) he left here yesterday and texted me when he arrived. It's only about a 40 minute drive from here but at least I know he arrived safely, ahhhh
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
  • Afternoon All,

Just to remind you that it is OPEN FARM SUNDAY this SUNDAY :j

I have very much enjoyed going the past two years after initially hearing about this national event on this lovely forum :A

The farm in which I have been to my little one loved climbing on and off the various tractors, had fun strolling through the woods to see woodland life, attempt den building with natural materials, going on a tractor ride to and from the dairy plus many more great activities.

All for free (well a donation is nice :))
