Twice a year it gets done costing a tenner in total and it stays weed free. We have an over the shoulder spray thing. I got carried away and finished off up the street, along the kerbs and round the lamp posts:rotfl:
I always hum the Ghostbusters tune when I'm using it:D
Who ya gonna call.........?:D
TM can I ask - is it squirting weeds you're doing? We have quite a large key block drive which is on a slope and the sand between the blocks gets washed away when it rains over a period of time and weeds grow in between. We usually dig them out which takes an age. So you squirt them with what I'm assuming is a strong weed killer? Is it safe for Oz to walk on after I'm just a bit concerned about Stanley. TIA x:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -
Didn't feel the earthquake here in mid wales so I hope Rhos is alright ♥
I remember way back - maybe 1990? when we had an earthquake tremour thingy here.

We have a large gravelled drive and it gets a fine spray twice a year. If you do it while the weeds are growing, ie lots of green growth the weed killer will travel down to the roots and they'll be dead in a matter of weeks. Once dry it's completely safe.
I used to buy pure liquid glyphosate from the local allotment shop. They sold it in glass coca cola bottles can you believe.
It was definitely the REAL THING and worked a treat. Nowadays I buy Round Up....not as strong but does the job if you get the mix right:)To do is to be. Rousseau

Evening all
Had a little trip to Ts after tea tonight and hit whoopsie time just rightManaged some fruit and veg for a change. Usually only manage bakery... my waistline will thank me
It won't thank me for the M&Ms, Bulmers or burger rolls for cashback though
After I got home and the boys were bathed I went out rather nervously for my run. I DID IT :j:j:j Legs like jelly by the end but I kept going for 20 minutes. Can't believe 4 weeks ago I was praying the woman on the podcast was about to say my 90 seconds were up :rotfl: I even kept going a bit extra after her 'well done' tonight as there was a bloke running towards me and I was too embarrassed to stop until I was past himRest day tomorrow and then onto week 6.
♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -

Morning all.
Last day here for us, we fly back tonight:(:( Going to make the most of the last day. We're taking the luggage to the airport at lunchtime, and checking in, then coming back to the apartment to spend the afternoon on 'our' beach.
Our last few days have been hectic, with lunches and dinners out with friends, lots of beach time with excellent company and some drinkies. We don't drink much alcohol at home, so a little has quite an effect;):rotfl:
I had a strange experience yesterday. I was in the sea and there were loads of fish swimming around me, from tiny tadpoley looking babies, to Grey Snapper, and others I couldn't identify. They are normally quite elusive, and swim off quite quickly if you move. There was a school of Palometa Trachinotus goodei, (sorry can't post a pic, but can be found if you wish to google) swimming around me. They were quite big fish and I was really surprised when some of them swam up to me, and started rubbing themselves around my legs  It was the strangest feeling. No idea why they did it.
Here's a pic of last night's sunset, taken from our balcony.
Off to finish catching up now before DH gets back from his early morning hunt for birds to photograph, and wants the lappie back.
Oh, I forgot, someone asked about a site to watch online tv series. I use Showbox. Works a treat on a tablet, but complicated to download to a pc. Google Showbox, and download from the website, very easy (must be if I can do it:p) It's been a boon having it to watch on my tablet here, cos local telly isn't great:(
Off now, bye bye

Ahem fish rubbing on your legs, they usually rub coral. Do your legs need shaving:rotfl:
Enjoy your last few hours. Wow the last month has gone quickly.
Coffee when you surface?
Evening all
Weather has been alternating between sun and cloud with a few spots of rain here. Couldnt put washing out as gardener was due then the farmers started muck spreading. Good job I didn't have the sun to sit out in.
Hospital to see my surgeon tomorrow. Slightly worried as now tendon has healed pain is back when I walk but I can point my toes again. Will see what he says about it tomorrow. Would prefer a solution before I let him loose on the other leg.
I hope everyone has had a lovely tuesday even if not very glitchy.
