We're back from Bingo
:(Does anyone else have a friend who just spills negativity about everything they talk about?
Will complain & never do anything about what they are bitterly complaining about :mad:
She had a bad back - well go home & rest!
So she hit the JDs & got louder & louder:(:(
I almost got up & walked out
Instead I hammered the table with my Staedler Boss pen & said 'ENOUGH'
What I would of liked to have screamed at her is
"Get off the cross we need the wood"
See I can rant here but not there

I wouldn't worry too much - football is one of the few jobs where managers get well paid whether they win or lose, and when sacked get a big pay off then get employed by another club shortly afterwards on an equally large salary. Success is not required. Rinse and repeat .
It always surprises me that the manager carries the can yet players who get paid significantly more, in many cases, get away scott-free despite them being the ones on the pitch who didn't perform. They should bring in performance related pay for players!

totally agree.:D.carnt be many industries where a total lack of effort earns you thousands.hornetgirl wrote: »Happy birthday Hillbern :bdaycake:
Your arbour looks beautiful Nannylala.
With all the football talk, does anyone else play the airline pilot/coach driver game? There is an unwritten rule in English football that all managers look like one or the other, although pilots are in short supply at the moment. Sam Allardyce is most definitely a coach driver, while there is little doubt that the Special One is an airline pilot.
DH has just rung to say he is standing in the centre circle at WFC (he hasn't broken into the ground, he's a trustee of a charity called KitAid and is there to meet a couple of guys who are raising funds by visiting all the league grounds.)
wish there were more pilots.:D:rotfl:paolo maldini for the blackpool job i say.:):rotfl:0 -
Hi Anon, thanks for the roasting bags post. I will pop in As tomorrow and see if there are any in my store. I use these a lot.0

was expecting a peaceful day today as dd2 was round yesterday with baby but dd1 turned up with her oh their 2 kids and dd2 baby, and decided we would all have a barbecue, luckily well stocked freezer so was not a problem, we all went for a walk and the little ones run the boys ragged,
was lovely having them all here but nice now to have a bit of quiet before bed.
we have set the large incubator up and dgd who is 3 was enthralled by it, and was sitting watching the eggs to see if they would hatch, she could not understand she has to wait a few weeks :rotfl:0
