Evening all
Nanny your arbour looks beautiful. Just wait until the weather really perks up and you can sit out there and enjoy it.
Was at a wedding in Solihull yesterday. No rain and a little bit of sunshine. Had a lovely time but back in London and still hangingDebt free 6th December 2014

Stripped bed yesterday but forgot to put fresh sheets on
This we discovered late last night when we went to bed.
Cue lots of swearing & wrestling with hospital corners :rotfl:
Hate it when that happens  :eek:Not been able to keep up the last week, had gs's a lot to help dd out as her beloved dog was very poorly, he slipped his collar as she went to take him for a walk last Saturday and he ran straight across a main road. He was in animal hospital till Friday, he's come home but is still poorly. He had his back leg amputated on Thursday but hoping that age is on his side and he will cope with it, he's only 7 months old.
Oh no, hope he is Ok. Dogs do adjust to missing limbs so much better than we humans do though and at that age, if he recovers from op and trauma, he should be fine, bless himMake sure that you take care of yourself, as well 3Dogs. Hope all is well and ok with you.
Yes I am fine thanks MKS, hope things are a little bit better for you. I didn't get to bed till 4am and still couldn't sleep so got up at 6 am  I did some washing, got it out on the line, shower, washed hair and got dressed, had breakfast, sorted my three crates into the car (they fit in lovely in my new car, one large and two medium so problems :j) and got away at 8.30 am
I called at Bishops Stortford to pick something up from store there for a friend, went to Enfield and picked up a leggy GSD cross failed adoption Rommie, then on to kennels at North Mymms for two Rommies who arrived in Uk on Thursday (GSD cross and lovely terrier), took them to March near me, hung around for someone to pick one of the dogs up, other one, the terrier, being fostered there, then home with failed adoption woofer. Walked him in garden and out front and hubbie of friend came to pick him up and take him up to new foster in West Yorkshire
I then got myself sorted with something to eat and settled down to catch up on here and on doggie FB posts. Eyes closing now as I struggled to get up to date, so I am off to bed to make up for no sleep last night
Your new arbour is gorgeous Nanny :T
Happy Birthday Hillbern
Off to bed now, night night allMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

It's for http://www.hotmixpro.com/ and i assume it's a catering kitchen plug.
New but very cheap then i noticed the plug and i'm not sure.
Good news is that it appears to work fine. Bad news is that it's not big enough for a full mix of tablet when it hits 115 degrees #messy0 -

Good morning all.:D
Lots of birthdays recently I see from my catchup. Happy birthday to all who are or have been celebrating.
Hope TS's party went well. I vaguely followed 'dressgate', and thought that all the advice was sound. Definitely no 'shapewear'. No comfort when you're trussed up like a chicken ready for the oven.
We only have a couple of days left now.:( We're making the most of them. Lunch invite yesterday followed by a dinner invite too. Ate far too much. SW went out of the window during the holiday, so am dreading my next weigh in.
I am cooking Jerk Chicken to take to the beach today, with the addition of some Jamaican Patties bought locally. All very non SW:rotfl:
Couple of pics for you
View from our balcony
Couple of ducks on a salt pond
Have a lovely day.

Glad to hear your dh is getting his fill of Jamaica patties after the ones we bought from ideal home were below par. Have sent you a message on tango.
Evening all.

As far as I am aware if your father was in anyway concerned about your repayment of a debt he would have been advised at the time of lodging his will to secure it with a charge on your property. You know you have repaid it.
£10 fee to your bank for the full records of account will save you from finding bank statements. I did this with Barclays when claiming ppi. Huge pile of papers arrived 6 weeks later must have cost £30 to post to me and that was only 5 years records. They will send everything since computers were invented:mad:
I am so lucky to have such a wonderful relationship with my sister. When I moved away from bedford although we still met up occasionally we didn't have the close relationship we had went our kids were younger. Once we both went back to work full time we had little time to get together. Dads illness in a way gave us time to reconnect as mature adults. I am really loving every moment we spend together and I know she is too. We have not had one disagreement (ok I might have been unable to understand her reasoning at times but anything that matters we talk through options together to find solutions) I feel she is far more vulnerable at the moment than me. I don't know why as she has a very supportive oh. Our relationships with dad were both very good but very different.
We didn't get alot done today as did so much yesterday. Can honestly say now just furniture to be moved out. Will probably all go to heart foundation to be sold as not having any luck selling locally (even advertising free) don't know why as all excellent quality and apart from antiques nothing over 5 years old.
makes us a bit sad knowing someone will buy suite for £200 from heart foundation that we tried to give away with no luck.
We ended up with a spot of retail therapy today as sister needed bits for holiday tomorrow.
Springdreams big thank you. Looked up hotel they are staying in (sister was worrying but never thought to ask oh what he had booked) and it looks really nice and right on the beach. Her oh has extended booking so sister will stay there abusing the spa and room service while he is off running. He agreed it made sense and meant he didn't have to worry about her while he was running.
Durban looks lovely.
had sleep when I got home and didn't wake until 10pm so will be a strange night. Might help myself to dipdaps chips later:)

That's part of the problem, it is all so long ago:mad:
Even if you left the bank years ago if their records go back that far for the £10 they will supply everything.
What do your father's solicitors say about recovery of this fictional debt.
Surely there will be a solicitor involved with probate (debt would have to have been included in assets if they thought it was recoverable).
If not a large amount then yes, it is a good feeling walking away knowing you are the better person. If it is a large amount then take your claim to court. Might make your step sister think twice as will stop anyone getting their inheritance until concluded.
It is a very sad situation.
