oh uncles funeral today went well:o
lady vicar told under dressed youngster " put them away we dont want another coronary" when the older men were oggling.
oh distant relatives were suprised we were still together after what is it 10 years  25 in september actually. (his family dont aprove of me but its ok mine dont aprove of him:rotfl: )
packed church and people outside, tears, laughter and memories,
plenty of prayers and hymns, finished with a heart felt rendition of Calon lan a must at all family gatherings.

was actually a good funeral if that is appropriate. and a grand send of for oh uncle :)

In the best possible taste, it's good when these occasions go as good as they possibly can.

I have been really daft ! I turned the cooker hotplates off and leaned over to turn the microwave off - and put my bloomin right hand lat on the just turned off hotplate !!! My language was fit for a navvy and I've just spent an hour or so in the local Minor Injuries unit having all my fingers and the palm of my hand dressed. And I've got to go back for re-dressing tomorrow and again on Monday. Then they reckon I will have a silicone dressing on for a whole week.

Got family visitors coming Monday and my hand is more or less out of action. Can't get the dressings wet so no showere tonight either. I am totally piddled off at my own stupidity.

I remember making a M&S birthday picnic once and consuming 3000 calories in half an hour:rotfl:

Tex mex selection of dips too, wonder if I have any Doritos in stock.

Just showed TH my shop. :rotfl: She went home with a carrier. ;) And I only gave her one thing OOD. :o

Conference Pears (loose ones) must be pretty expensive in A at the moment, as I don't think they're particularly cheap in M:

    Vs Morries
    0.57 x ASDA Conference Pear per kg£1.27£1.13

565g for well over £1! My guide used to be 800g for 50p - wherever did that go?:rotfl:

    Indeed:
    Vs T and S
    0.57 x ASDA Conference Pear per kg£1.27£1.14
Just 1p higher than M! Even S can manage to be cheaper:eek: - but do check msm to see that they haven't suddenly increased them.

    Even vs W:eek:
    0.57 x ASDA Conference Pear per kg£1.27£1.25
Seems like expensive pears all round, but particularly in A. So, avoid completely:rotfl:.
