I got a flight for £1 to Copenhagen last month, but circumstances meant I couldn't get it however it led to me starting another business passing the rains of our main business to OH while I focus getting this one up and running before outsourcing the upkeep.
My parent's don't get it and have made me feel guilty for thinking about the idea. They suggested 3 nights in a European destination instead, LIKE THAT COMPARES!
My backwards and forwards over the whole thing has now put doubt in OH mind, and the last thing I want to do is go and regret going or be worried the entire time I'm there.
I regret going to Florida said nobody ever right! LOL.
Really I shouldn't have put in about the 99p holidays as unfortunately when all you lot got on the internet our 99p holidays went BUT we did have probably 4 years or so or holidaying about 5 times a year very inexpensively before we had to pay regular prices - we took FULL advantage whenever we could. I also added we did Australia & trips back the US (hubby is from US) whenever we could too.
You've been working hard & so should feel able to give yourself a break. Your parents are just worrying that you might need the money for the holiday further down the line BUT as long as you're sure you can afford it now then as I said DO IT!
My feet are itching for a cruise/holiday now & I'd go tomorrow if we didn't have hospital/docs appts. I've never ever regretted taking any holiday & neither will you.0 -
At dd house playing with grandchildren. When she realised she was out of milk so I walked to village shop and got some could not understand why I was getting funny looks until I got back and dd goes why have you got a tiara on your head:o:rotfl:0

From what I just read on the dark side it looks like the people that ordered one or two cases are getting there orders
The ones that placed silly orders are not being received

If the weather is as changeable there as it is here - horrendous downpours followed by sunshine, were you also wearing your wellies?
I can just see it now PMSL:D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks for the advice. I love the USA.
We do have Aus and Thailand left to do. Possibly Japan & Singapore too if we can get a good enough deal.0 -
Afternoon all
Back from a morning training course and having a nice cuppa under a blanket on the sofa with DS2.
In between rain showers at the moment but the sky is black. Thunder and lightening just started so right on cue for the usual downpour on the school run!♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -
I suppose I better stop with the travel chat and return these damn £2.95 UDI's0

Do it, life is too short and you don't want to regret it. Myself and Mr Monkey run our own business and Mr monkey never switches off, he's always been a hard worker but it's very difficult being your own boss. If the phone rings on a Sunday morning he can't ignore it, then he has to act on it which may mean Sunday turns into yet another work day. I booked centre parks a few weeks ago for the weekend purely because we have no phone reception, it was bliss and I actually saw the return of the Mr Monkey I married:)
Go and have a lovely relax ready to hit the ground running on your return. You will feel better for it.
I've been without a phone for 2 hrs while it was fixed. I felt like I'd lost an arm:o had no idea what time it was and was unreachable:( very strange. When did we become so reliant on technology?0 -
