When I met my OH I was AMAZED at the food they had :eek: his parents were Italian and moved here in the 60s to take over a chip/ice cream business that family members had set up after WW2.

I still remember being about 13 and being invited to dinner and being AMAZED that food could taste so good. That was my first encounter with garlic :rotfl:

They had proper big family meals and the most amazing home cooking. LOVED my MIL. Bless her, she never did embrace the language much but she used to show her affection by patting your head and giving the biggest toothy grin you ever saw also a lot of head nodding went on....which I realised in time was a seal of approval :rotfl: :A

I'm home after embarrassing myself and showing my knickers off as the lining of my dress had ridden up. Maybe a good job I didn't have spanx on. :rotfl:

Apparently my cousin's wife said she was given the job of telling me.

I tell you what if you all knew the background he is an amazing guy. It brought tears to my eyes tonight how well he has done with the difficult childhood he had. :beer: I told him I was proud of him.

I'm catching up and on page 126 but I had to comment on dress situation. Order an expensive gorgeous one in your current size from ASOS such as a beautiful Whistles dress. Wear it dry clean it and then... You guessed return. QVC even encourage this if you can find one nice enough. And Boden. A beautiful silk dress disguises all our little blips. There's a lovely whistles dress with a feather print that I have my eye on.

That would never be an option, I could never do that to any company.
