qVC do not promote this - they do give you a 30 day trial and allow you to return anything you decide you don't want. This is meant to cover items that perhaps don't come up to expectations or don't fit. They dispose of stuff like part used make up or stuff that had clearly been 'used' . They certainly wouldn't be happy to sell on used clothing - other stuff is disposed over via their outlet shops but is marked as used/recond.

I know some unscrupulous people do buy clothes, wear them and then put the labels back on and return them for refunds but this goes on all over eg M&S and staff look out for it.

QVC say on TV, wear it for 28 days and if you don't want it for any reason then return it. That's what they say.

Good Morning all. I've had a sleepless night and am up very early for me on a Sunday. I can never sleep when I have things on my mind. I'm cooking Roast Beef today and taking a plate of it into my elderly neighbour. How many roast potatoes do you think I should put on for him? His very old and frail so I'm thinking four. Ha ha the things I worry myself with.

Four is quite a large/generous portion, but obviously depends on how big they are :D... And what else is on the plate.

They are big. My family love their Carbs. They would complain about only having four. Perhaps I should put three on my neighbours lunch then. I'm so nervous about it all. Silly I know.

You can return anything within the 30 day period but that is just their very generous terms. It is not the same as telling you to wear clothing for the month and then return it - it is designed to allow you to try clothing on to make sure it fits and that you like it just like you would in a normal shop. They assume people are honest enough to only return worn clothing that turns out to be faulty - obviously they are wrong in that assumption. Same old story - a few people always try it on.

I would say two potatoes would be fine - a heaped plate can be very daunting .
