Wow good time in universal studios :) 10 minute wait to go on Harry Potter ride. Now trying to persuade my 17 year old on the hulk. Managed to get my 6 year old on the potter ride. Pretty hot today 34.
Give the brats a turkey leg apiece.

Or maybe one of the long floppy cinnamon things. Where are you staying ?

    Evening all..

Well, I'm afraid it is a very sad day for me today..:(:(

I finally got to speak to Asda Head Office and they have confirmed that I am no longer allowed to use any apg vouchers in my local store.

My attempt to be friendly with the SAs and get them onside has spectacularly backfired, to the extent that one (or some) of them have told the till manager what it is that I do and she has told head office who have backed up her decision.

It has been an awesome ride and I thank you all for it. From where I first started as a member of the Paid To Shop forum a few years ago to the 11+ on here. From day 1 of the crazy Tosco DTD fiasco and the £100 vouchers, to the Tosco H&B points coupons, even the Tesco car vouchers..:D

Then, on to Henlans' favourite in A where he made over £8500 in a few weeks to what we all enjoy now. I must have saved thousands over the years and I thank the elite for making it all possible..:D

I'd like to say that I will stay on and carry on trying to find glitches, however I much prefer instore ones and now that the incentive has been taken away it'll be hard to get myself motivated.

I will try to keep looking, however I have a feeling that this might be adieu for now and I hope that I will return one day in the future.

Take care one and all and thanks again, it has been a blast..:beer:

Sorry to hear that, and I hope you don't disappear off the thread.

Hi henlans, long time no speak! :rotfl:

We're off to Universal in July, what top tips can you give me, recommendations of rides etc? We'll have 2 days of extra hours in morning and front of line passes as spending one night in a Universal Hotel. 34 degrees you say?

My DS passed this theory test today, first time. He is very proud of himself (as of course am I!). We booked the voiceover for him due to his dyslexia, and that really helped.

Just checked to book his practical, and there is a two month wait, literally no dates in June at all, first available is 13th July but we'll still be away then. Can't believe you have to wait that long!

Afternoon all, beautiful afternoon. Thank you Chrisv for the new thread.
I have had a good receipt entered in the asda price promise site when it was only comparing with morrisions . If I could get on the old site should I be able to re enter it? And getting the shop I had targeted . I always though they were locked once entered , but last week I had locked it on the old site 30 th April but couldn't claim until 1st may . When I went to claim it on the 1st . It went into the new site new amount , and I lost £10.

This shop is about £30 ish , I presently have £3. 45 on morrisions.

What do people think please has anyone else tried this

    Many thanks
the two systems seem to operate independently as far as checking/locking results, at least for in-store receipts but I presume you are asking about online - not sure...

the "machine" is just broken at the moment...no one has any idea for sure yet what it is doing. Asda know and say they are trying to fix it but until people check apg's on the new site and post about it on here then we won't know for sure. All my apgs' dated 8th and 9th only compare to M except for 1 which compares to all. The one that did compare had exactly the same items on it that didnt compare and was done 10 minutes after it and was checked at the same time...so there you go...no one knows.. I have been onto asda phone/emal/tweets etc and they say they are now aware and tryin gto fix it but as to when it will be fixed I do not know

The problem, as I am sure many people have already spotted, is that the APG may be giving different results as we understand that it is based on the data in the system at the time of the shop NOT the time that we are all entering receipts. Hence, we could all enter now but if one shop was from this afternoon, another from this morning, one from two days ago and one from last Thursday afternoon, it may still only compare to M or all depending on what data had fed in and was reflected in the APG system at that day/time. This is consistent with the old system (we rely on it) - the complicating aspect is no one knows when the T, S and W (or indeed M) data feeds went weird (and no chance of A owning up to it - they couldn't do anything to address it for thousands of customer transactions at all the different points in time anyway?).

I would suggest people "cashing out" with the new system until they get this sorted - as once entered into the new APG machine that will be the result, no matter whether they have now fixed it or not as the "fix" will like apply from the fixed point forward, not going back and changing the data that was in the system at the various update points since it went wrong.

Just a theory but I hope that makes sense..

Just you have a drink for every single one of your friends on here and if you're still not drunk enough have another.

I never organise parties\dinner for my birthday cause can't be harrised pleasing far flung family. Me Hubby and the bairns. Chinese take out bottle of wine.

    Sorted.

SFSB really sorry that they have taken this stance hope you stick around anyway. Well done to LS ds, I know that you can request cancellation slots for the driving test so might be worth looking at that, mind July will be here before you can blink and he can practice more:)

Have you looked at a neighbouring area? When looking into booking my DS's test we found that travelling a few miles into another area meant he could book quicker.
