I wonder if we will see these next time we go shopping:D
You want some proper British (well, English) double-entendre foodstuffs:)
Did anyone else go to this year's Knob Throwing Festival? There was Knob Eating, Knob Painting, the Knob & Spoon Race (I came third:p), Guess the Weight of the Big Knob, Knob Darts and a Knob Pyramid. Such fun:D'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

Didn't like shopping there anyway.
Yesterday I was at my local Sainsbury's store buying a large bag of Winalot dog food for my loyal pet and was in the checkout queue when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog.
What did she think I had - an elephant? So, since I'm retired and have little to do, on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the Winalot Diet again. I added that I probably shouldn’t, because I ended up in hospital last time, but I'd lost 2 stone before I woke up in intensive care with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms.
I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that it works is to load your pockets with Winalot nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so it works well and I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in queue was now enthralled with my story.)
Horrified, she asked me if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food poisoned me. I told her no, I stepped off of the kerb to sniff an Irish Setter's !!!! and a car hit me.
I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was
laughing so hard.
I'm now banned from Sainsbury's.
Better watch what you ask retired people.
They have all the time in the world to think of daft things to say.
I haven't laughed that hard for a very long time, I am crying :rotfl::rotfl:
Thank you for sharing x0 -

Thanks, but its telling me my email is invalid  so tried another one and said the same!
Tried Kontakt but didn't activate the sim, looking at the website I can't see that offer. Would be good as previously used Ovivo for a spare phone
Did get a sim from Kontakt b
Sorry it wouldn't let you register for freedompop - It's been going in the US for a while now, be great if it let you take your mobile there too & get free everything!
If you have a sim from Kontakt - look on their facebook pages. It can be a little difficult understanding as I think they are a Polish company & some of the translations are not quite right. They are quite good at responding to questions on FB though.:D
I just managed to find the balance I have on my phone - It's £19.66 - pretty damned good as I've never paid them a penny!
I thought I'd register for freedompop as when Ovivo went down it was a bit of a pain. Always useful to have an alternative in hand.0 -
