VT, yes I managed a shower, just  so no longer a manly mare :) I smell lovely, skin is soft and moisturised :rotfl: :rotfl:

Had problems holding onto the grab bars due to OA but got as far as shower head, it felt sooooo good after my daily strip washes. One thing I've noticed though is how bad my other joints are, hips , left knee shoulders etc. tingly end joints in fingers meant the towel dropped to the floor and soaked up residue water grrrrr. Never mind plenty more on towel rail.

Hoping to sleep better tonight as feel relaxed but starting to ache a little in my lower back. Go away Mr S Cia tica :p

Hope you are as well as can be VT and managed to get bed made up again :)

I'm leaving that one in lol

Soo pleases you feel refreshed A.

Yes I think the pain everywhere else is to be expected as body had to over compensate for your bad knee for so long. I have same problem, hip is really playing up now. Calf muscle very much numb but no pins and needles in the night anymore. Now muscle is mending the foot pain is coming back. Just have to wait and see if worth doing the other leg or not.

Sorry so far behind and not sure why. Think this thread has been going at quite a speed.
introduced a friend to money saving today. His first solo mission was t assume. Got the bug so told him to sign up to 10 ways and hugs. Text me back later to say thanks for free sausage rolls:eek: Luckily for him Greggs is right near his apartment as he has serious mobility issues. Always good to have another partner in crime and he is in a different area so can share goodies:T
Explained he has to go very slow and start with almost free app stuff while he gets the hang of it. Seeing him next week so will introduce him to this thread. Very isolated so I think he will benefit from having you lovely people in his life.

Domestic day today. Watched gardener this morning and cleaner this afternoon. Really takes pressure off for me and allows me to spend what little energy I have on other things.

Art day tomorrow then I might brave showing you my male chicken and also a sunflower I have spent weeks working on.

Hope to catch up but might have to skim a bit. Hope our dear friend is only on a 2 week ban and might return soon.

I know someone said there was a pack of Birds Eye Fish fillets in A for £1.89 (ish) and that you could get £1.50 back on COS but .....

Free Birds eye cod fillets @ Sainsbury with checkoutsmart £1.50

    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/free-birds-cod-fillets-sainsbury-with-checkoutsmart-2205764

    Don't forget TMF

These are on CoS and CS apps for me - in both cases they are not at the top where new offers normally appear but down after the Seabrook crisps so had to scroll down.

    DH just back with these.
They are Laughing Gulls. They come onto the balcony for a drink of water from the pot I have put there, and they beg for bread.

I rather like the second picture of laughing gulls. Look like you and I on a covet mission round Mr a as their eyes look well peeled. Just need one of them to whip out an I phone and start scanning now:rotfl::rotfl:

Will sleep happen tonight  I'm getting so uptight and irritable, back to can't find a comfy spot.
Knee has swollen up today but at least dressings are off :j ouch

Cup of camomile tea with honey me thinks, that may do the trick :)

VT if you are still awake, I look forward to seeing your pictures :)
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

How so? I'd be really interested to know.

There is no way that I know of that a sender of an email can tell if you've read it or not.

......that's putting aside the fact I have.

As far as I know it's not possible.

It is  they use auto mailing software that knows ;) cant think of the names right now but they do
