    Congratulations on your engagement :D

Have you got a stash of hot curries (BNI jalfrezi ofc), raspberry leaf tea and pineapple (apparently) ready to help things get going.

DW swears by leaf tea, she had 2 cups and went into natural labour with DS2 :rotfl:

Got plenty of curries in :D
Rude not to at that price lol.

Never tried leaf tea though, I'll avoid it unless I go overdue. This little bubba is staying put for as long as I can keep him in lol.

    Right, I'm off to bed.
Gotta get all the zzzzzzzz whilst I can :D
    Good night all x

HP I don't know what you've read but there has been no such thing. You could be referring to one of 2 things.......

The general banter (and it's nothing more than that) that has gone on for a long time on here between some posters. There's nothing malicious in it all. Some of us enjoy it :o

Or you have stumbled on the rather unpleasant posts that came out of feelings running high after the election? That did get out of hand, I agree. But there was no abuse against Scots in that. Quite the opposite in fact.

And I suppose my posts were the unpleasant ones?

Ive been awol for a while after reading the abuse against Scots on here, came back today to see that the thread has disintegrated again.
    Hope you are all well.
    Ta ta again.

I've not seen any abuse against Scots on here, but perhaps I've managed to avoid it by being oblivious to anything around me:rotfl:. Nor have I had any abuse myself (I'm not complaining btw:rotfl:) despite, as a person born in England and having always resided in England, being very pro-Scottish on a number of matters (or, maybe not, as people in Scotland are not one homogenous group and may not necessarily share my views on everything).

However, can I make an attempt (probably vain) to come together by realising that, for some people in England (or indeed Wales/NI), the SNP may, at the moment, be the best representation of their views that they have got. It doesn't matter where we are or where we come from, people have different views and it's not always clear-cut that one area of the country will be represented by that area or otherwise - instead of divisions, harmony please!:)

Totally agree with you. The BBC is antiquated and needs a shake up. It's time they stopped holding people to ransom.

They're not even that good. They pick the most inappropriate people to present the events that they have a monopoly over.

Example......Chris Evans presenting the VE Day celebrations. I've nothing against him per se but he is very clown like and I can't help but see him with a giant toothbrush (TGIF) when I look at him. Loved the concert but such an inappropriate host. Not appropriate for the occasion in my eyes.

....there again if he'd been unavailable they'd have got Tess Daly to do it :rotfl::rotfl:

Just my opinion of course :)

Rofl ! Yes hes not really appropriate. I rarely watch bbc in truth. And I think they could still make good tv and sell it. They already do x
  • Have you been taking something ? That's completely untrue. If anything it's been the other way round with lots of pro SNP messages.

Which I got slated as being as nasty nat for!

Look again, she said she hoped she hadn't missed any dram, not drama :p

She's a typical Scottish lassie who only cares about her next shot of whisky

How did I know you wouldn't miss that?! :p :rotfl:

A shot of whisky would be most welcome at the moment though :rotfl:

For anyone that had virgin east coast train points, you need to transfer them out (to nectar?) or use them up on train offers by 1 September - or you lose them.

East Coast Rewards was the best loyalty programme going. It was a sad, sad day for me when that ended. Nectar is pants!
