    Hi speedbird1

I have had 3 months of hassle with Canada Square Operations. They initially, like you, sent me a generic letter rejecting my claim on a loan to which I responded pointing out they my loan was a "front loaded" single premium. After a couple of week I phoned them to try and find out what was going on, as Taff says the operators don't have the information in front of them but your call is logged and if you persist enough and are given enough false promises eventually the call will be escalated and a call back from the PPI department arranged, this happened to me after 4 separate telephone calls spread over 2 weeks where I was informed that my claim would would be upheld, just waiting for claim offer to arrive.

I have only ever written to Canada Square Operations twice, the initial complaint and the follow up of rejection. I have managed to talk to Danny in the PPI department twice to discuss the dreaded change of address malarky for which I have not had to send anything and have been assured I wont need to send anything before they send out cheque.

In my opinion being able to talk to someone about the claim and the logic behind their decision is better that sitting back wondering on who's desk a letter is sitting and most importantly to prevent the game of cat and mouse they seem to want you to join, forever prolonging any decisions or payment. But that could just be me, different strokes for different folks I guess.

Forget about emailing, they just don't read them.

    Many thanks Caggy,much appreciated.

They seem thoroughly disorganised I guess they just can't handle the claims.

Shall take your advise and persevere with them,

At the end of the day my loan was front loaded and was mis sold.

Thanks again for your help on this matter!!
