when we took our dog ,we had to have a 'tie out' (sort of giant corkscrew you fix into the ground) as she had to be on a lead at all times. She really didnt enjoy watching all the hustle and bustle but not being able to join in. Still if someone is afraid of dogs it would be a misery for them to be camped in a field where they could run free.0
