Broadband for 6 months.

Going to be moving into a flat soon for 6 months, possibly longer. The area isnt cabled and I think there is a BT line already installed. I need broadband for work. Now as I understand it I would need to take a 12 month contract with BT for the phone line which I dont particularly want to do. So my question is, what other companies can I get the phone line and bb through that doesnt have the 12 month contact, and which works out the best value assuming I want broadband with min 2MB connection and 10GB download.

don't think you will get away without the 12 month contract for the phone line, whoever you go with but even if you move before 12 months i don't think it would be an issue as you can just take it with you.

the broadband, go for a monthly contract like fast4 or eclipse who will not tie u in. fast4 is unlimited, eclipse is 40gig/month during peak times so its just about unlimited.
