    I've been Money Tipped!
I challenge anyone to find a media outfit that's less politically biased than the bbc.

    Protip: you can't.

Russia Today, Fox news, CCTV..... The list goes on and on

And just how much of the press is Tory-biased? What with the Daily Rail, the Current Bun and the Dimes on the side of the tories, the Sexpress on the side of Ukip - things balance out in the end.

Yes, there is a good amount of Tory Press and Lefty press. For every Sun, a Mirror, for every Times, a Guardian.

The difference is that the BBC is supposed to be impartial, and it is publicly funded.

It also has a vast market share, especially in Radio but also in TV.

I recognise that it's impossible to have pure impartiality, but when reading the original article I complained about I kept thinking 'seriously?'. It's not that hard to at least include some balance.

The BBC is shamefully leftwing biased.

It's blatantly obvious to anyone with half a brain.

Nick Robinson nearly cried when Ed Balls lost his seat, Evan Davis gave Miliband an easy ride, the panel on newsnight presented Miliband v Brand as a huge success for Miliband.

You obviously know little about Nick Robinson. you know, the one on the BBC who used to be President of the Oxford University Conservative Association!

To be fair to Robinson , he is impartial. He was not nearly in tears around Balls, but made a valid point.

The only bias, my friend, would seem to be with you!

Did they never just think that perhaps, just perhaps, the idea that they also had policies a large part of the electorate agreed with might have something to do with it?
Maybe but I think it more likely that it was the SNP that won it for them. They took 40 seats off Labour and instilled the fear of God into the electorate south of the border when the tories decided their best strategy was to call Milliband a liar about a Labour-SNP coalition not being a possibility.

It appears pretty biased to me as well. Left wingers often seem to only accept democracy when they win. When they lose it's because they other side cheated or because the system is unfair.
I don't recall Ed Milliband saying that they were cheated out of a victory or that he now wants the system changing(compare that with the tories who despite winning are still planning to change boundaries in their favour so that they never lose again...or at least that is what I read online earlier in the morning)
When the wrong side wins it is called a sad day for democracy or worrying for the future of our country - perhaps they should step back and think about the fact that the electorate didn't want their message or their politics.
OK I can't claim to have heard all of them but the speeches given by the two EDs after the election seem to be quite magnanimous with no blame being attached to anyone else.
Also just because the electorate has spoken does not mean that the future is going to be all sweet and rosy than if the other lot had got in. You have every right to worry for the future of the country even with Uncle David and Gideaon at the helm.....

Everyone under 75 who owns the piece of electronics called a television has to pay a substantial tax to fund broadcaster. Ridiculous and outdated.
Last I heard we still live in a free country. Nobody is forcing you to own a television. This ain't mother Russia or North Korea. It's your choice.
