No-one is saying everyone or every program on the BBC is biased to the left. Many aren't. Some are biased to the right. But overall there is a very clear left-wing bias.0 -

Everyone under 75 who owns the piece of electronics called a television which is connected to an aerial and can be tuned to receive television broadcast signals has to pay a substantial tax to fund broadcaster. Ridiculous and outdated.
And also, not quite accurate, so I've corrected it for you.
There are many people who either don't have a television, only use it to watch DVDs or play games or don't ever use it to receive live broadcasts, and I suspect that the latter number is growing with more sets nowadays able to hook up to the likes of iPlayer to watch programmes after the original broadcast.
Provided the TV is detuned, not connected to an aerial and never used for iPlayer Watch Live (or similar), no license is required.0 -
