So democratic reform is only for those you agree with?
You sound like a right helmet, fair play.0 -

I admire your honesty in admitting you aren't really interested in fairness but manipulating the voting system to get the 'correct' politicians voted in.0 -

Either that or only open polling stations after 4PM, as then all the old people will be safely locked up indooors and unable to vote Tory.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -

A total of over 14 million voters who are all diametrically in opposition to the 11 million people who voted for the Tories. Yet David Cameron today is congratulating himself as leader of the "United" Kingdom.
Well, he doesnt represent me, and the Tories' perpetual 'I'm alright Jack' selfishness doesn't reflect the true political views of the majority of people in this country.
Electoral reform is needed, urgently.
Its probably not correct to think all of those voters are against blue and for red.
Also a lot of voters are on the verge of each side and could switch, the centre left centre right voters
I voted blue for my MP and red for my councilors (local reasons) just as an example of people not all being all left or all right.0 -

Yep, local issues matter too. I voted Labour a couple of elections ago because their candidate was a local councillor and she had a damn good record working for the local people regardless of political persuasion. Yesterday, I didn't vote Labour because Labour parachuted in some woman from hundreds of miles away who'd probably never set foot in this constituency until she appeared on the Labour HQ shortlist. By contrast the Tory candidate was the sitting MP who's done a hell of a lot for the town and increased his share of the vote considerably whilst Labour fell sharply!0 -
I thought we'd already had a referendum on electoral reform. I wonder how many people crying foul actually bothered to vote in that.0
