I predicted the election result. I wish I'd put money on it :rotfl:
Nothing much that's good happening here...
Woke up with a migraine-type headache but took paracetamol and struggled in as there was a big job to be done today only to find the kitchen was closed for repair so I didn't get to eat anything until midday by which time the headache was full blown and making me feel sick.
Luckily my boss also suffers and had some fab medication, a bar of ginger chocolate and some lemon and ginger tea and it was gone within the hour. I couldn't however eat the fish pie I'd defrosted (bleurgh!) so that ended up in the bin and I bought a tuna sandwich which I could only eat half off so I've fallen at the first hurdle of my 7 no spend days but I think that played a part in making me feel better too.
I did cook the curry from the freezer tonight though and DH bought naans and some YS cucumber to go with my tuna sandwiches next week (still need bread but will leave that until Sunday.) He also bought YS crumpets for breakfast tomorrow.
DS has mislaid his new keys and also my keys so I'm going to have to go into his room to hunt for them tomorrow because I can't afford to keep getting new keys cut, wish me luck  They have to be in there somewhere as I have a novel hiding place for them so he's not carrying them around, he just lets himself in but then puts them down but his room is such a tip they could be anywhere.
No bids on ebay but 3 watchers on one of the things.
Work has been busy but good. Management branches out above my level so I have 2 managers that cover different aspects. They have been working together on a big project that initially I was to have nothing to do with. They don't see eye to eye and things have now deteriorated to such a point that they can no longer work together so it has been passed on to me to do which is really exciting.
I have told the estate agent I am pulling out of my sale hoping to put it back on in a month or two to get more money and he didn't sound as peeved or surprised as I expected. He did say he was surprised the other had gone for the asking price (it's the one not on with them.) Apparently the one that's for sale with them has had offers of the same amount as I accepted and one of £40k below the asking price. The lady whose house has sold at asking price told me she'd had an offer £40k below too so I'm guessing it's from the same person (I must be sure to tell the agents not to send whoever that is round to mine!) The mere fact he said they have had offers of the same amount as mine (and not 'it is under offer') suggests to me that they aren't prepared to drop by £25k either.
I still believe the offer of £25k below that the other house got was from my (now ex!) buyers and the reason they opted to stay with me and not transfer to someone in a position to proceed was because their offer wasn't accepted.
Anyhow, I'm becoming a real house bore, sorry! Have a great weekend all!Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100
