Not sure if this is the right place, however.... My fixed term tarrifs were coming to an end with British Gas, had a brief look around but went with BG again, taking fixed dual fuel tarrif and received a £50 amazon e-voucher. Have used the voucher tonight to buy a new BBQ!!!! makes an estimated saving of £75 a year with this included. I thought it was agood deal and worth shouting about.:j

After years and years of overpaying British Gas goodness knows how many hundreds of pounds, I was thinking of finally jumping ship, but I also found out about their £50 voucher, and I was thinking of taking this (as a small compensation for all the money wasted) when they told me there are no exit fees and no contract tie-in with that fixed tariff, so I'm wondering what the exact catch is for being able to use that voucher - whatever it is, it must be a small one, right? Like maybe the voucher arrives a month into the contract, or what? Maybe there is NO catch whatsoever, which would be even better!0
