I have been awarded £595 compensation under the EU Regulations for a 12 hour delay in 2013, against Thomas Cook. They initially offered vouchers but I've informed them I required cash. They have acknowledged this and I've given them my BACS details. That was on 8th April. They've still not transferred the money to my account. I've emailed and telephoned about this but no joy. I ended up posting the saga on Facebook last night (name and shame?), but I've just been told to ring their Customer Services again.

Incidentally, I've also got another claim running with them for a 6.5 hour delay in January this year. They turned that one down so I've gone to the CAA. Still waiting to hear.

Not a happy bunny  If I'd accepted their vouchers I'd have had them by return but why would I want those given their record of delays. I've only flown with them twice and both times have been delayed.
