Sistercas I'm glad you've just asked that question about changing back to the original site!! I did the self same thing the other day and after numerous attempts it's refusing to revert back!! I much prefer the old forum = help anybody??!!

ps just thought I would give it another go - it tells me it is updating my forum options but it doesn't!:

I had the same problem reverting back to the old site. I had been stuck on it for days after deciding to give it another go.

Finally I found how to go back.

Left click your avatar on the home page (top left) which should bring up a menu.

    Go into your profile.

On the right hand side go into your settings.

On the left hand side go down to manage version.

I just took a look at the new-style forum.:( I switched back after precisely 10 seconds. Don't care for the new one at all.
Question: Why fix what ain't broke??

We've been and done our civic duty.:D Although I *think* Mr LW and I voted the same, I don't know for certain - it's just something we don't question each other about.:o

Looks as if I am stuck with it! I tried to change back originally through Control Panel but it wouldn't save my change to old version. Tried again through Judi's suggestion of clicking on my avatar and changing back through that route but it still wouldn't save my change to old version! I don't like this new version at all. Good evening everyone

A bit of a late visit, the last couple of days have been very busy.

Hugs to everyone and hope you are all well.

Just the usual work, picking up DD, made a beef curry for dinner, and made my own flatbreads which were nice.

DH and I went and voted, and then I have caught up with the ironing.

I have to admit, I haven't been to look at the new forum as I was worried I wouldn't like it and then wouldn't be able to change back, so I'm staying put:rotfl:

Went to Selby to register the death and get certs etc (DD gave me a lift in) and then got the bus to York on the way back.

Remembered the nice restaurant we all had lunch at last year when looking at wedding dresses for DD and wanted to balance the morning's work with a nice memory so popped and had lunch there
    on my own.

Got another bus home and went to vote (got stopped for an exit poll for Sky which has never happened before).

Made me and DDs minted lamb steak, home made potato salad and a green salad with beans and then watched a dvd with DDs.
Reverend is coming round on Saturday morning when DDs are here to discuss the service. Flowers are ordered (elegant white and purple spray) and notices put in a couple of local papers for next Saturday.

DDs have organised cleaning service for next week and just have to find catering now for food back at the house. If weather is nice can use the garden as well and let children have the run of downstairs etc.

We had intended to invite family and friends in the summer for a meal and drinks but events overtook us.

    Hugs to all

    Evening all,

Glad to hear that there has been a good turnout in the election, I get very irritated with people who wont vote and then grumble about government.....even if they are all useless at least if you vote you have had your say and bought your right to grumble!

Took OH for his second xray today, hospital was very busy, results will take a week.

Spoke to DD3 today.....was just ab out to ring her when she rang, complaining about how cold it is in Perth, reminded her that it is Autumn there, whereas we should be having much better temperatures than we have currently!

Our local garden centre gives 10% discount to over 60s on Thursdays, so we had leek and pork sausages with mash and veg.....had coffee and cake at home.

Csarina....good that OH is able to drive again.

judi.....hope that everything goes well for the wedding.

LW....we never discuss politics here...OH assumes that I vote differently to him, I say nothing to confirm or contradict his opinion.... saves argument

My mind is in a mulch at this time of night, so will just wish everyone a good night, sleep well
