Have you spoken to Stepchange? They are a charity, won't charge you anything, and can at least advise you.

In the meantime, do you have anything that you could sell to tide you over?

I imagine most people would err cover the 247 in with their normal expenses, so would put food at say 150, 50 for clothes, 20 for birthday presents etc etc and then do a dmp with the rest of the debts.
It's not ethical, clearly but that's what I think people would do in the situation.
Obviously if your creditors found out they would clearly not be happy about it and you run the risk of getting a ccj by defaulting on the debts.

Is there anyway you can take on a second job? Supermarket/pub/fast food?

    Hi

Is there a chance you could get more of your debt onto your Barclaycard if it's at just over 2%? I only ask as it has very little on it and if you can get some of the more expensive debt on it, you could focus first on payday loans.

I imagine the Barclaycard is really 25.2%.

I must say I was impressed with 2%! It did sound unlikely.

As there is a balance transfer price war however it may still be possible to transfer some debt to a low life of balance rate. You should def have a look. The very large 118 ( payday loan?) is troubling and doesn't bode well for cc jiggling however.

You need to increase your income. ASAP. Change job, promotion, overtime, second job, anything at all, any increase in income will improve your position dramatically.

You could even get 2 or three jobs to cover some week nights and weekends. Its either this or some sort of debt relief.

Are you paying all the bills or is that just your share? If you are supporting the other two adults can they get some part time wok?
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)

You don't qualify for a DRO (too much surplus). You are showing 537 + 247 = 784 per month and even I would struggle to get that <50!

The soa is too tight. So it's either a third-party dmp and the guarantor will find out what they signed up to. Or go the d-I-y route and do what dancingfairy suggested.

    cabmoney is a useful tool
  • Thank you everyone for your suggestions and to answer some of your questions:
    - Barclaycard is actually 34.9, not sure why I put 2.
    - There is no way of transferring any debt on to it
    - I'm not supporting my flatmates, they both work full time
    - I don't have much time for a second job, I get up at 6 to go to work and don't get home until around 9pm and I already work from home at the weekend.
    - If I was to stretch myself and work 2/3 jobs and have less sleep and no time to myself, this would have a massive unwanted affect on my health, bipolar disorder is hard to cope with at the best of times.
    - the bills are my share
    - I have got advice from stepchange and nation debt relief, plus a few other organisations that charge for dmps, bbut none of them seems suitable, I am completely out of money, still have 2 bills to pay and travel for work. It also seems that using a dmp still leaves me with very little money.
    - I don't have anything of value To sell to tide me over

All in all, it seems pretty hopeless. I am really struggling to cope.
