Nope lol It's not something I have an interest in, only answered about Avon as I know someone who does it in her spare time!
There's a work from home board/self employment board on netmums that may help lots of mums do these kind of things and I'm sure they'd be willing to helpIf women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -
MLM's are a scam - the very definition of it is that you sign up under someone, who takes a skim of the profit. The more levels, the more skimming, leaving a load of people at the bottom doing the actual work for the promise of more money, then quitting only to be replaced.
It's a pyramid Ponzi scheme"You did not pull yourself up by your bootstraps. You were lucky enough to come of age at a time when housing was cheap, welfare was generous, and inflation was high enough to wipe out any debts you acquired. I’m pleased for you, but please stop being so unbearably smug about it."0 -
Ah, with forever living and juice plus I think it depends how much you value your friends! Reps are practically brainwashed, go on and on and end up irritating most people they know. There are many a thread with people ranting about now ex friendsIf women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0

Having been the "friend" of a Juice Plus person, I was alarmed by the level of brain washing. How is it done? Watching my friend's deteriorating into madness (and very little actual money) was enough to ensure I would never try to product.
If I ever turn up, attempting to sell JP, please have me institutionalized and drug tested ...0 -
I used to be an Avon Rep. It was a total waste of time. The patch I was given already had another rep who saw that no-one was selling in the area and took the patch over. Clients had got used to her, so they weren't interested in buying from me.
I did sell to a few family and friends, but since you have to buy your samples, I actually lost money!
This was some time ago, so things may have improved, but I doubt it!0 -
I'm just giving it a go at the moment iv signed up and started today at the last week of a campaign I'm going to see how many people in the territory iv been given are interested if it's not going well I'm going to stop it0

I did it a few years ago and didn't find it that bad, I didn't make a tonne of money (nor did I exp to - like you it was more for pocket money and to keep me busy) I made about £50 a month or so for a couple of streets. The first few months are the hardest whilst you figure out who is interested- then you concentrate on them. Took a couple of ours each month in brochure delivery/collection and about 4-5 a month in delivery processing. Good fun and you can do as little/much as you like. You do have to buy brouchures etc though so there is an outlay0

I started 3 campaigns ago, just hoping to make even £30 profit a campaign as I also work full time. I'm finding it quite tough going, but I'm still canvassing my territory, once I start only taking books to an interested few I think it'll be a lot easier. I'm also finding I'm not really making anything yet
but I think it's a long game. I'd like to at least keep going till Christmas, when I have been assured that it can go a bit crazy.
