Thinking about dropping Virgin TV and getting a streaming stick

We're currently paying around £60/month for broadband, phone and TV with Virgin plus a Netflix subscription. We can't get digital TV through our aerial. I've just seen Amazon Fire stick advertised on TV and was thinking about dropping the TV part of the Virgin package and just keeping the broadband and streaming instead. The stick should pay for itself within a month. Has anyone else done this?

Yes. That's the beauty of fibre optic bb. There's various sources you can stream through if you don't have a smart TV. The PS3 is very good and doubles up as a blue ray DVD player and games console. It has most of the streaming apps and you can pick a pre owned one for around £50. Buy a PS3 remote for around £17 from Amazon and it works a treat.
There's also a good deal on Now TV at the mo.0
