I love my sovereigns, buy a couple every year, (1 for the current year and an old one), plus a new silver coin, and I use coininvest.com. They're based in Germany but the prices are really competitive and communication with them is so easy.

Current sovereign price with them is £183.90 for reference.

My Dad was an avid coin collector so I guess that's why I like my gold and silver coins so much.

    That's quite a stack! I'm 5.78oz in gold (bars/coins) and 376.81oz in silver coins.

I hope the pictures don't have any geotag information in them :)

What %age are you in precious metals? I'm not buying any more as they just sit there not earning dividends and waiting to be stolen :)

    No geotag info.

Coins are kept in a very large safe at a secure location.

London gold fix is about £770, expect to pay a few percentage points above that to buy a coin

Mine cost about 830, but the gold price is 770 or so. Not the shrewdness investment I've ever made! But it's very shiny, so that's good!

I think buying Silver you need to pay Vat, whereas Gold is vat free.
