Thank you
It worked and now the thread has a new name
We spent the week end at the new house painting and have pushed back the date for the floor fitting. Lordbob was exhausted by midday yesterday after being there 4 days running. Still, all the floorboards are fixed and the walls are prepped and ready for painting (including undercoat throughout.)
The stair lift company called this morning and that will be done on the 15th, which I *think* is next Friday.
I finished last week with 2 days in the pockets, so £28. I put £26 in a balance forward pocket and £4 in the sealed pot.
Yesterday was also a NSD and today is youth club, so I should only spend the £4-Ill not have time for the inside of a shop and we have 3 bottles of milk in the fridge still.
I hope you guys have all found me since I've moved?0 -
Glad you got sorted, sounds like your getting organised with the house, hopefully the stairlift will be up and running soon.
Sounds you have been well organised re money and the savings xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Just a quick update. We spent the weekend at the new house again painting. Nearly there, just skirtings to go-so I'll pop in whilst DD is in nursery in the afternoons and get that done before thursday when they come to fit the carpets.
I'm finishing the week with £28 again (second week in a row) despite getting chippy yesterday and using the usual budget. We were working so hard we didnt notice the time and made the decision to get take away. Today I took the halogen oven with and we did pizza's from the freezer.
Im really loooking forward to getting settled so I can concentrate more on record keeping.0
