NS&I Direct ISA - Withdrawing Question

I plan to withdraw some cash from our Direct ISAs to knock my mortgage on the head.
I have a very silly question, but have not been able to find any answers on their website: If I withdraw the cash, does it come to me as a cheque or is it electronically transfered into a nominated account.
Its just that I will be not around for a couple of weeks so will need to act sooner rather than later if they send me the funds by cheque. If its electronic then its no problem.
Many thanks
Dave

I took some money out earlier this year. It arrived in the account I used to deposit the money in the first place, and at the time I couldn't find an option to change that nominated account to a more suitable one!I am a Chartered Financial Planner

Here it is -
Make a withdrawal- Click "Deposits and withdrawals" in the bar at the top of the screen. You'll then see a list of any previous deposits or withdrawals you have made online.
- Click "Make a withdrawal" below the main heading on the screen.
- Enter the amount you want to withdraw and click "proceed".
- Check the amount you entered then click "submit" to make the withdrawal or "edit" if you need to make a correction or "cancel" if you decide not to go ahead.

I remember that I nominated a bank a/c when I first opened the ISA. I think you may have to telephone/write them to change this.In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0
