Be nice if we could have an instant spam reporting button on the left so we don't have to open the bloody things first! Be even nicer if the button caused the spammers computer to explode and kill them but that may be asking a bit much!

I have now decided to stop clicking on the Spam button.
It seems the only measure I can personally take to try and get MSE Towers to take some sensible action.0 -

Several times I suggested to add a small 'Spam' button to all threads in a board view.
Personally, because of the towers unwillingness to do anything, I went on strike long time ago and stopped wasting my time on killing any 'mass' spam.
I suggest "the lot" do the same.

I didn't say it was easy (though I don't think it's that hard either).
Most software specialists I know take a pride in their work, and would readily accept the challenge.0 -

I was trying to encourage others to press the spam button.

I would not worry to much Sam as Torbrex seems to like jumping up and down whilst throwing his toys out of his pram about spam post.
Quite simple to just ignore them really and move on to a post that you wish to read/comment against.0
