They could give you a very small credit limit.
I would have gone for the Annual Fee £25 Amex cashback card, because it sounds like you will be spending a lot. The 5% on the extra £500 is £25, which covers the first year's fee. The on going 1.25% cashback is better if you intend to spend.0 -
