You will need a lot of packaging. When it is packed you should be happy to drop the box on the floor.
You will be sending china uninsured for breakage the only cover will be for total loss with RM. Many carriers will offer no cover at all.

I managed to do that a couple of times and I avoid breakable stuff as much as humanly possible.

Polystyrene is wonderful, I once bought some long thick lengths of it from one of the big DIY stores who were selling it off as it had snapped or broken.
