if someone has 100k and he has at least 30 years of work ahead, is it wise to put that money into his pension portfolio?

https://www.gov.uk/tax-on-your-private-pension can give you more info on that. When you have finished sorting your benefit claims and your PhD and buying your house etc and you genuinely have £100k that you can do without for the next 27 years, feel free to read it.0
