The CA limit is 110/week. Earning 112.32.
If you will still be caring 35 hours a week, then you may still be eligible if some deductions are made.

NI, tax come off, but you may not be paying any.
Half of personal pension contributions come off, so if you paid around 5 pounds a week into a personal pension, you'd still be eligible.
Alternatively - paying 3 pounds or so a week to someone else who is not a close relative to help look after while you're at work the cared for person, or a child under 16 would also reduce your earnings below the CA limit.0 -
Tesco pays 4 weekly if that helps? I'm not sure if all stores are paid on the same date but if they are the next pay date is May 8th. The cut off date for wages is the Saturday the week before pay day. If you work any date before the cut off date you'll get paid the same month.

As much as I love my kids I need to scrape back a wee bit of a life for myself lol!!
As others have suggested, Claimants who have claimed for over 6 months, are entitled to 4 weeks 'run on' of Housing Benefit/LHA and Council Tax Support. This is the case with JSA, so just ask if it is with Income Support. I imagine it is as both are means tested benefits.
Also ask about the Flexible Support Fund, as the Jobcentre may pay for travel for the first 4 weeks.
It's also worth checking with your energy provider, as a new scheme has just started (May 2105) that can give one off payment to help those in fuel poverty. Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.0 -
PS Yes, you're right in that the automatic £100 Job Grant was abolished in 2012, but other help does exist (they just don't seem to advertise it). Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. It is 16hrs at £7.02 but I have no idea of paydate. I am extremely nervous already and unsure of my figures but guess I'll talk to the jobcentre and surely they will keep me right? Thanks again
Don't bash yourself, at least 60% of people admit being nervous at job interviews and the like0 -
My son's next Tesco pay day is also May 8th too so looks like they are all the same, you will be in the workplace pension scheme too so that will take a little off your wage. So you may qualify for carer's allowance.
Good luck with the interview. Why pay full price when you may get it YS0 -

Could any of you tell me how the pension scheme works? What amount would they likely take off? Does this come straight out of wages? If I was walking away with below £110 would carers simply accept this? After going through everything it's obviously more appealing if I can keep my carers.
Sorry for all the questions but starting to doubt myself even more lol!!
Thanks0
