Hi , I just wanted to say thank you for all the advice I have read on the subject of flight delays.
Briefly , my niece married in Cyprus and a large party of family were delayed over 8 hours. Every party booked separately, my mum kept her booking details( she just does), being her sisters wedding my other niece had hers as a momento in an album so they had no issues making a claim with Thomas Cook. However my sister and I did because we had no booking reference and so could not prove we were on the flight! My sister sent photos and all manner of info and eventually they found her booking because they said she had actually booked through Thomas Cook. As for me, well they were having none of it, I tried in vain to find some evidence that was there, Thomas Cook said they had exhausted their searches and could not find me. Then I came across a comment on your forum " passenger manifesto" and " stalling tactic". Well all I can say is I have now received an email with full compensation claim and strangely my booking reference is now on my details. All I say is persevere:T:T:T
