Another UU/TA to report
No7 Extreme Length Extend Mascara - This was part of a GWP. I've been using it for the last 3 months and it seemed to be coming to the end of it's life. I tried swirling the brush to get the last little bit out but the wand completey snapped off.
WMB. It was a decent mascara but I prefer others. I'm going to move on to a mini Benefit They're Real! mascara next.0 -
VALM - I've never tried any Laura Geller products. I would like to swatch them before I buy but that isn't possible so I have avoided even though I know you really like them.
I'm doing a mini make up challenge of my own. I had 7 products to finish by 25 May (3 months total) some of them are still going strong so after that date I will join in with the 4 x 4 July.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
Fashion on the Ration 28/660 -
FizzWhizz - I like bronzer in the crease too which is just as well as I don't get on with it on my face (I'm a pale with pink blush type of girl) and I have 6 bronzers to get through.
I seem to have transferred my buying habits to candles now (always had a problem with them) I have bought 16 candles in the last week:eek:.
I have been afraid of bronzers for ages but I'm finally trying to learn to love themI have a pale-pink face, a chalk white neck and a slightly tanned chest so at the mo I'm breaking myself in gently by bronzing my neck up to "match" my chest and doing a gentle contour on my cheeks and forehead. Safari sagoodie?!
I also hear you on the candle front, I have a problem with smelly things in general, especially reed diffusers. I now have a candle constantly burning in my bedroom and I always, always have fresh flowers on my bedside table too -- sounds a little extravagant perhaps, but I buy roses from Aldi for £2 and they'll last a fortnight, easilyWas watching Amber F 4x4 pan vid earlier and going to join in. It's 4 products to UUS or pan by 4 July.
Anyone else up for this?
Yes please! I'll need to jiggle some of my May PP list as some of my targets were [STRIKE]completely ridiculous[/STRIKE] somewhat over ambitious :rotfl: but I'll be back tomorrow with deets0 -

Thanks Dolly84 I got rid of it. I'm going to be more conscious of the lipstick colours I buy from now on.
I have 3 UU's
7. Essence Lip Liner in 06 Satin Mauve. Very creamy but matte. I use it as a lipstick for work or a lipstick base and it stays for ages either way. wba in the far future lol as I already have a backup (which I'm planning to save for my summer abroad). Speaking of holidays could anyone recommend anything that can help me decide how much to pack for 3 weeks. I don't want to take two much and not use it.
8. Gold shade from my Make Up Revolution Redemption palette Iconic 2(Dupe for Urban Decay Naked 2). Loved this shade and loving the palette. I would recommend it and wba (but not soon as I have enough eyeshadows to last me a lifetime). 3 shades down 8 to go. Is anyone else panning a palette? I think I'm getting a bit crazy, every time I see a full empty pan I have to remove it and in doing so, I kinda created my own z palette so I can depot a blush and bronzer and add it in.
9. Rimmel Scandal eyes eyeshadow stick in bluffing- It was very easy to use up as you have to sharpen it. Although soft, I still felt it hurt my eyeball especially in the morning when I'm rushing. I'd say its very similar to the maybelline colour tattoos but its in stick form. They're both ideal for a quick makeup look. However, I do think its a bit wasteful since when you sharpen it , a lot of the product is wasted so prefer the colour tattoos.0 -
4 ins to report but were all free with magazines! Ive got all 3 Neals Yard handcreams and the Clinique serum.
No UU's to report as yet for May.0 -

Anyone else thinking of ordering the Caroline Hirons beauty box? £140 for 6 full size products and 2 sample sizes. This will be a saving for over £100!! So far she has revealed it will contain Oskia micro exfoliating balm full size and MV organics 9 oil skin tonic, also full size.
I think I will treat myself to this, depending on what else will be in the box as I know it will be amazing value and I love CH
Must now be good the rest of the monthNo buying unnecessary toiletries!

Thank you for the details, LunaL. I was extremely tempted by the idea of the box but £140 is way out of my budget. Although I understand why they've chosen to include full size items rather than sample sizes I actually prefer samples so I can see if it suits my skin before committing to a full size. I'm sure the products will be lovely but I'm quite relieved to know I won't be waiting for it to be released/trying to work out if I should go for itIf I were to spend £140 on skin care/beauty I'd want to hand pick the items myself...
