    Congrats rdone!

    One UU today:

Witch Blemish Stick: HG, have already repurchased.

Some of you may remember me moaning about a patch of spots that won't go away - after trying everything I have open and leaving my skin alone completely, I bought the Simple Kind to Skin Moisturising Facial Wash.

I wondered if the products I had been using were too harsh but after trying this, I don't know what to think. It says it's moisturising but straight after using it, it dries my skin out like nothing I've ever had before! I just want these pesky spots to finally clear up! Does anyone have any suggestions/holy grails they can recommend? I have oily/combination skin.

Yes I do have a recommendation - raw honey. Get a jar of raw (unprocessed) honey, you can get it at Holland & Barrett or you may be able to get local honey at a smaller health food store. Get all your hair out of the way and spread some onto dry skin. Leave it for 5 minutes and rinse away. It is antibacterial and very good for the skin and it works wonders on break outs. It won't leave your skin sticky either. Don't get the processed stuff from the supermarket though.

P.S. use it in the morning on clean skin or at night after removing makeup.

    I have two uu's

Body Shop Chocomania Shower Gel 200ml - WNBA, we all got very sick of the scent of this in the end.

Eve Lom Cleanser - this was a sample pot and I'm glad I didn't fork out full price for it, WNBA, nothing special and smells of clove oil which I'm not a fan of.

I just got the one they were giving away via email.

Thank you. I have now had a reminder email about this (having ignored the original one) and have a voucher ready. Going to Trafford Centre on Saturday in the hope that there are some left.

I have spent today with my DD, it's not often we have such an extended time together without falling out :rotfl: but it's been really lovely. She has her prom in a few weeks and had ordered a dress from China which arrived yesterday -- true to stroppy teenager form, she hated it. To be fair, it was very bridal in style although dark purple in colour and even though it was custom made-to-measure it was too long and she kept tripping over the train. After many tears I dug deep into my wardrobe and found a 50's style polka dot dress which I wore to a wedding a couple of years ago, she tried it on and then there were happy tears :) so that's a crisis averted!

You have my sympathies re: the prom. It seemed that we were planning that for about a year beforehand. It's not just the dress and shoes is it? The expectancy is there that transport will be paid for and beauty pampering sessions. In the end I bought Emma's outfit and only paid for her tanning. Luckily we have a family member who is a trainee beautifician who made Emma up and a friend had a new car that he was happy to chauffer Emma and her friends in. After all that she didn't really enjoy it anyway because it's all about the after party and we wouldn't let her go to one.

Elle is for Living also swears by an anti-chafing cream (http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=98437/Monistat---Chafing-Relief-Powder-Gel-/Unlisted-Brand/Primer/-Corrector). I found her via Kristen K (another of your recommendations) who is lovely. I'm feeling so inspired by the Project Pan youtubers :) I've even order a Sharpie permanent marker so I can mark my progress on things as I go!

Romantic is my favourite shade of Balm Stain :D

I've got into watching You Tubers too now. Love Glamour with Grace.

    Congratulations rdone xx.
2/74. Elemis Pro-Collagen Lifting Treatment Neck and Bust 15ml - I loved this: gorgeous fragrance, very moisturising and sank in well, it felt very luxurious, but WNB due to price - this sample is worth £22! Would happily use again if received as a GWP as this was, but I don't think it did anything a normal body lotion doesn't.

I too adore this product but can't justify £71.00 for the full sized.

Glad to see everyone had a good Bank Holiday weekend. We went to see Avengers film on Monday and really enjoyed it. If anyone watches Blacklist go and see it. James Spader is the voice of Ultron though it seems he is playing him as Red Reddington. If you watch Blacklist you'll get the reference. Robert Downey Jnr was gorgeous as ever.

    OK 2 more UUs:-

Sachet of Philosophy Hope in a Jar. Emma had used a sachet of this recently and commented on how awful the smell is. I got locked out of the bathroom at the weekend whilst MrM was in there having a bath so decided to use the sachet I had in my stash so that I could get on with getting ready to go out. It does smell awful but left my skin so soft. WDNBA due to the smell.

Tresemme shampoo. This was on my PP list. Have another 2 huge bottles in the stash but for now have opened a small tube of Gilbert and Soames shampoo as there is still quite a bit of the Tresemme conditioner left.

YSL Babydoll brown mascara. This has finally dried up/gone. Have another in stash. Will UU some black ones first. Have tried Soap & Glory one this morning but was wearing it under my eyes by the time I got to work. Didn't like the brush either as it's too big and as Emma didn't like it either I'm going to ditch it tonight.

I should be posting the UU of my eye cream tomorrow I think.

    See you later ladies x.

OK first week of May done and here's my updated PP list:-

    Elemis Frangipani Monoi oil.
    Vaseline cocoa body lotion
    [STRIKE]Clinique eye cream

    Tresemme shampoo[STRIKE][/STRIKE]
    Tresemme conditioner
    Dove Deodorant
    [STRIKE][/STRIKE]LE Lavender C&P[STRIKE][/STRIKE]
    Elemis Cleansing Balm
    [STRIKE][/STRIKE]YSL Babydoll mascara brown[STRIKE][/STRIKE]
    Argan oil hair mask

Must remember to switch the Monoi oil back into rotation as I've been using Sanctuary Spa souffl! instead.

Will be using the Vaseline lotion today. The bottle is feeling quite light now.

The conditioner bottle has been sawn in two and only has one generous scoop left so this will go over the weekend.

The deodorant is really light too.

The last two items are tubs and have hit pan so maybe another week out of them both.

    Quite pleased with this progress.

The eye cream was UUed last night as predicted. It was the All About Eyes gel. I am bad at applying eye cream though in that I use it so sporadically that I can't gauge how it's working. Have taken a bottle of Elemis eye serum out of my stash and took a photo of my eye area last night. Am going thto make a real effort of using it religiously then keep taking photos to see if there's any difference.

Have a good day all x

Have noticed that the strike through hasn't worked. The eye cream, C@P, shampoo and mascara are all gone.

I love the smell of the that monoi oil - how do you like it? wba?

woke up very early ( a little too early) and decided to relax in a bath before I start my busy day.

UU's: 2 Lush bath bombs out the door

I've been using my eyeshadow palettes everyday now as they are the oldest in my stash.

Have recently joined after lurking for years and found this thread last weekend. I've a real problem with stocking up toiletries - especially on sale/new in charity shop gift sets.
So far this week I've avoided all charity shops (which will save a lot); donated a Body Shop body butter; and walked away from a GWP Neal's Yard hand cream with a £2.50 magazine which is a great product but I have more handcream than I need. Also returned to shelf on No 7 serum as I'm a Boots tester now and get near full size tubes every couple of months. Also threw out an old, unopened, face cream well by it's use by date.
Apologies if I didn't get the initials right - still trying to remember them.
Anyway this thread is a godsend for someone like me, not quite hoarding toiletries. Thanks again!:T
    Looking ahead
