Hi,
I need to Flea/Worn treat my 2 dogs! just called the vets & they Quoted £58 for 2 dogs for 3 months! One weighs 6kg & the other 11kg Seems really expensive!
Has anyone got any recommendations? That price was for Advocat (Sp?)
Thanks in advance!

Hi, we move threads if we think they’ll get more help elsewhere (please read the forum rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.
I’ve moved your thread from the ‘I wanna’ board to the ‘Pets & Pet Care’ board, where it is better suited.

Advocate covers fleas & worms (incl lungworm) so is often recommended by vets - the downside is it's prescription only so expensive
Alternatives (using the same active ingredient for flea protection) are Advantage or ClearSpot Spot On (Norbrook NOT bob martin) BUT these cover fleas only so you'd need to worm on top of that
The plus side is they're only about £10 for 4 pipettes! http://www.viovet.co.uk/Norbrook_ClearSpot_Spot-On_Flea_Treatment_for_Dogs_Cats/c19640/?pk_campaign=AdWords-1317&pk_kwd=clearspot%20spot-on&oa_matchtype=e&oa_advert=3713&oa_network=g&gclid=Cj0KEQjwgoKqBRDt_IfLr8y1iMUBEiQA8Ua7XS57E9jOUFqkLvT1pYYjWxERM0xDh7hrYufQWuo-mykaAoeZ8P8HAQ
Good wormers are Drontal / Panacur (will cover lungworm which most others don't) etc and will only be a few £s / dog
